Japanese Green Tea
High-quality matcha complements genmaicha to give a pleasant, nutty, roasted rice flavour with a mild aftertaste. The matcha powder adds rich green color and depth in flavour to the genmaicha.
Use 1 tsp per cup or 1 rounded tsp per person for a teapot. Pour freshly boiled water, cooled to 70-80C, over the leaves and infuse for 1-2 minutes.
